'COINS' System Integrates Financial, Manufacturing & Marketing Capabilities
Washington, D.C. — The U.S. Mint has chosen PeopleSoft. Inc., to provide the software for its new enterprise resource planning ('ERP') system called "COINS" (for Consolidated Information System). The software will integrate data from the Mint's seven operational sites to enhance its finance, manufacturing, sales and distribution functions.
