Bags and Rolls of 2010 Kennedy Half–Dollars Available January 29

WASHINGTON — The United States Mint announced today that it will offer 2010 Kennedy Half–Dollars for sale starting at noon Eastern Time (ET) on January 29, 2010.

The 2010 Kennedy Half–Dollars will be available in bags of 200 circulating quality coins that include an equal number of half–dollars with "P" and "D" mint marks. Each bag is marked with both a "P" and "D." representing the mints of origin, and "$100," representing the dollar value of its contents.

The half–dollars will also be available in a two–roll set containing 20 circulating quality coins per roll–one each from the United States Mint facilities at Philadelphia and Denver. The coins are wrapped in specially designed United States Mint paper coin wrap, which displays a "P" or "D." representing the roll's mint of origin, and "$10," representing the dollar value of its contents.

Pricing for the 200–coin bags and two–roll sets is set at $130.95 and $32.95, respectively. Customers may order at the United States Mint's Web site at http://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CatalogSearchResultView?searchWord=kennedy, or at the toll–free number, 1–800–USA–MINT (872–6468). Hearing– and speech–impaired customers may order by calling 1–888–321–MINT (6468). There is no order limit on these products.
