United States Mint to Release Chester Arthur $1 Coin Cover on April 9

WASHINGTON — Collectors may begin placing orders for the Chester Arthur $1 Coin Cover on April 9, 2012, at noon Eastern Time (ET). The limited–edition coin cover includes two circulating quality 2012 Chester Arthur Presidential $1 Coins from the first day of mintage– January 11, 2012, for the United States Mint at Philadelphia and December 22, 2011, for the United States Mint at Denver. The coins are mounted on a handsome display card with a 45–cent postage stamp.

The Chester Arthur $1 Coin Cover is priced at $19.95. Orders will be accepted at the United States Mint’s Web site, http://www.usmint.gov/catalog, and at 1–800–USA–MINT (872–6468). Hearing– and speech–impaired customers with TTY equipment may order at 1–888–321–MINT (6468). A shipping and handling fee of $4.95 will be added to all domestic orders.
