United States Mint Opens Sales for 2014 Presidential $1 Four-Coin Sets Sept. 16

Collectors can choose from a set of coins from Denver or Philadelphia facilities

WASHINGTON — The United States Mint will begin accepting orders for the 2014 Presidential $1 Four–Coin Sets Sept. 16 at noon Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).

Orders will be accepted at http://www.usmint.gov/catalog and at 1–800–USA–MINT (872–6468), while hearing– and speech–impaired customers with TTY equipment may order at 1–888–321–MINT. A fee of $4.95 will be added to all domestic orders for shipping and handling.

The sets — one from Philadelphia (product code DE8) and one from Denver (product code DE9) — contain circulating quality coins featuring the portraits of Presidents Warren G. Harding, Calvin Coolidge, Herbert Hoover, and Franklin D. Roosevelt. The coins in this set have never been entered into circulation. Each set is priced at $12.95.

Note: To ensure that all members of the public have fair and equal access to United States Mint products, orders placed prior to the official on–sale date and time of Sept. 16, 2014, at noon EDT, shall not be deemed accepted by the United States Mint and will not be honored.
