Human Capital Directorate
Michael Wenzler joined the U.S. Mint in April 2020 as the Human Capital Director, responsible for leading the development and management of the Mint’s human capital programs. Michael is a career human resources management professional of more than 30 years.
Prior to joining the Mint, he served approximately 19 years in key positions overseeing the establishment and delivery of modern talent acquisition, talent management, employee accountability, and labor relations services for the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s 62,000 border security, trade facilitation, operations support, and mission support employees.
Michael resides in Virginia, with his wife and two teenage sons.
